(updaters, virus scans, etc., etc.) Sleep mode is more convenient than using a 'power scheme' to shut off monitor screen, stop disks, etc. Is this correct? Jun 05, 2008 · Tech Talk - Problems with Vista and Sleep mode - My 32 bit Vista Home Premium OS will not go into Sleep mode automatically even though I set it to sleep in 30 minutes. It just stays on while monitor goes to stand by mode. I have 3 gigs of RAM, 1 terabyte hard drive, and an AMD Phenom 9600 Quad Core Processor.
Hi Guys I'm using a software that deploy patches to vista and XP machines once a week and the bigest issue I have now is that the patches get deploy at 3 AM on Saturday and most of the desktop machines are on sleep or hybernate mode at that time so the patch fail to install.
