The International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations was founded in 1992 to provide support to patient-driven associations through networking and exchanging information about ALS. The Les Turner ALS Foundation and the Motor Neuron Disease Association of England, Wales and Northern Ireland (MNDA), along with several others, were founding Alliance The International Alliance of ALS / MND Associations. 3.2K likes. The Alliance is a global network of ALS/MND associations informed by PALS/CALS, that builds capability for its members and connects MND is a global problem. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity or demographic. It is a devastating disease that affects over 350,000 of the world’s people and kills over 100,000 people every year (International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations). The Alliance is an active participant in the support of people living with ALS/MND throughout the world. In partnership with the many others who are part of the fight against ALS/MND, the aim of the Alliance is to share the expertise, knowledge and skills of ALS/MND Associations.
